• Job Summary
• The Senior Guest Service Associate (Sr. GSA) / Guest Service Associate (GSA) in Food & Beverage Service is responsible for delivering excellent guest service in the café, restaurant, and banquet operations. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Key Responsibilities
• Guest Service
• Welcome and greet guests politely and professionally.
• Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to guest needs and requests promptly.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and report issues to supervisors.
• Restaurant & Café Operations
• Prepare tables with proper mise-en-place (cutlery, napkins, glassware).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, service areas, and equipment.
• Ensure timely service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations.
• Assist in upselling menu items and beverages.
• Banquet Operations
• Assist in banquet setup and service according to event requirements.
• Arrange tables, chairs, buffet counters, and service stations.
• Provide efficient service during conferences, weddings, and events.
• Coordinate with banquet team to ensure smooth event operations.
• Operational Duties
• Follow hotel SOPs and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper billing and settlement procedures where applicable.
• Maintain stock of service equipment and report shortages.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
